The Silverstones look to be a very solid choice so I’m trying to narrow it down to one of these. I know it’s not the hdmi cable, since it works with my xbox. The TV is going to be used mostly for gaming/watching movies. I don’t have a sound system or anything, I only use my tv for sound. For the past few years I’ve been connecting mac mini to my panasonic TH50PF9UK 720p plasma panel via VGA and apple’s DVI/VGA adapter. Obviously the 16:9 would seem to be the best option as it matches the content perfectly, but when actually working within the NLE, would those missing vertical pixels be a hindrance? 3a hdmi cable => plasma panel via TY-FB8HM. (fully up to date), i have had minor issues with mkv to mp3 for mac lately on my gaming partition. My involvement is as a project manager. The source, supposedly is HDTV China(? So. I placed them all on the timeline, but I would like to speed it all up now. Then again could this just be a GFX card / GFX drivers problem? Anywho, the following is a kind of a short mac video converter film I made using footage from World of Warcraft. LCD Tvs also have more inputs. It’s in the style of a silent film set to music by Chopin. Previously I would use my old powerbook G4 for editing in Final Cut Pro, as this is what i learned on, but it was much cheaper to build my own PC that could handle AVCHD than buy a new mac. Now that I understand how to calibrate grey scale, I have my Sony HS 20 tweaked out. The video that is captured isn’t great.
I really know nothing about wireless sound, or maybe i want wired lavs? Is this most likely a hardware or software problem do you think? I use it to convert dvds to my zune. It had a link to a solution and the only way I could get to it was to register to this site. Im not sure if this is a valid at all as ive never edited on PC, but if any NLE is similar to FCP i would be more comfortable with that. Besides I can probably just invest in a TV Tuner sometime later. The rack is in back corner of room. I’ve installed the HD audio drivers from ATI and the realtek drivers. Looks like the flv to 3gp mac doesn’t even see the panel via this connection and under the display preferences there’s no “detect displays” button. Also, what’s the major difference between LCD monitors and LCD TVs.
