So I have isolated the issue to be with the green CRT, or at least the high voltage going into it. With that said, are there any other options out there? I know a 32″ will fit easily, but are there any 37″ out there that will fill my needs? I’m getting a new receiver soon, probably the Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH. You can also store the files on a external hdd and watch thru a western digital media player.
The width of the tv cannot be more than 34″ (inside width of cabinet). I’m running Windows 7 32 bit build 7077 on an HP m8000n pavilion with AMD dual core and TSSTCorp dvd writer. The CRTs do not light up at all. In daylight everything is great but that’s no use to the way we film. The Samsung P58B860 looks pretty nice, but it did not have the wireless feature. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. The only two models I’m aware of right now are the Panasonic Z1 and an LG LCD that is about half the price of the Panasonic. Some of hers are 55.4kb a photo to 12.8kb per photo another is 1.08mb?
I removed the top, and back panel, and there is a visible spark coming from (or very near to) the green CRT lamp towards the projection side facing up (not the pointy back, but the front that lights up) where the thick red high voltage wires go, but unfortunately the exact origin of the spark is obscured by a bevel which is part of the metal housing that the CRTs mount to. I just want the largest diagonal size tv that can fit in this cabinet, with performance coming second.
I know both of these sets are entry level offerings but I want to upgrade to HD in my bedroom, already have a 58″ Panasonic THX plasma (TH-58PZ800U) in the living room. The LG was a little bulky for my taste, though, and I would prefer to go with a plasma. I have done a little bit of homework with not many answers, but can someone tell me could it be the size of the photo files that she sent me?
