Video right off the DVD/BD is generally far too noisy for a good streaming compression. Playback of the original is fine, but when the playhead reaches the reversed copy, it is mac video converter. In fact, there seems to be two English subtitle tracks that I can choose but only the second subtitle track actually has subtitles that show up in the video. How are you viewing this, and taking screenshots? However, my settings were all guesswork. I don’t, I just want playback to be smooth so I can continue editing.
I notice that on the timeline, above the copy, there is a blue line. But now I get a message saying I don’t have it? Am I nuts? Often subbers put in two tracks, one is “styled” text and the other is plain. Converting will always cause some quality loss, so I wouldn’t convert anything unless it was required for your playback. I have then reversed the copy.
