I read many a thread, searched MRoogle, and get conflicting advice. Somewhere along the road, I think they must have sent them the FIRST time when they upgraded me and didn’t log it and then when I kept bugging them about it, they sent it AGAIN. Some say you don’t have to jailbreak if it is an AT&T goPhone sim, and others say you do have to jailbreak it. I find the full-screen mode in Pages much easier to work in than the normal editing window. Then i tried removing the battery and the power cable, powering up holding the power button for 5 seconds to do the whole reset thing and that seemed to make the message go away for one cycle. I took off all the pictures I had added trying to see if it was one of my pictures that was failing. I would think zero’ing out or random’ing out the data would take much less than 2 hours for one go-around since to zero out 200 Gb on a hard drive on a Mac only takes 40 minutes. The title pretty much says it all. Not only did that not help, but while trying to delete them it somehow messed up and deleted picture I didn’t tell it to. Is there a way to force Pages to open in full-screen? Manual hacking is dvd to itunes for mac no problem. I tried running the battery to empty then recharging but still says it needs service.
I just want to know if there’s a way to get iCal to wake my iMac from sleep so it can send out an email alert for an event. I use iWeb to post pictures and stories for my small buisness I run off Etsy. I hadn’t gotten one of these emails the first time around, but I did see a tracking number on the package when I got the speakers and checked it with the tracking number I got 3gp to dvd for mac today. Now its back and that solution no longer works. If it could then go back to sleep after sending the email, that would be even better. Does “Erase All Content And Settings” do a secure erase? If yes, what type? Random characters or zeros? And does it do it once or 3x, 7x? It takes about 2 hours to erase a 16Gb iPhone 3G so I am thinking it probably is a secure erase and perhaps it’s doing 3x. not the same. I was trying to post some picture of a new item and i kept getting this error that an image was missing and the upload failed. Today I get an email saying that my order has been shipped. the about recommends taking it to the apple store.
