It’s unknown whether this system would allow local cached copies of the content, to allow offline access (including transfer to USB storage, or DVDs) which would be necessary for those with shaky connections. but i want the room to rattle while still at a practical listenable level.
I may even end up in a dorm room (I’m getting ready to go to business school in September 2010). Any help is appreciated! Sub will come in the near future. The movies are in ISO format and are mounted with Virtual Clone Drive. I seem to have a problem finding my tv from the control panel. hi reelman, actually my receiver shows 5 ch stereo but am still not able to get the same 5. The audio is in sync at the beginning but ahead by nearly 2 secs at the end. With this new problem, I’ve posted on several places (like NVIDIA) and gotten absolutely no help. I can import the file but no audio. He saw no pc issues and I have no viruses either. I have used this forum a few times and have always been pleased at the helpful people and great answers.
These shots were takin with my Kodak Z612 camera, flash in some, no flash in others, both TV’s are out of the box with no setting changes, both HDMI hook-ups from 2 of the same HD cable boxs (no HDMI spliter was used by mac dvd ripper). Every time that I have tinkered with the resolution, I get this sort of response. its a sony 12″ 180 watt sub. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my TV itself.
In the meantime, is there a simple solution — especially since it doesn’t seem to be happening on all channels/shows? I was able to download the videos from the camcoder to the PC but it does not play well. it isnt a dial its just a switch that can be on regular and reverse.
